I haven't been very good at keeping up on my blog. Here a bunch of pictures of stuff we did this past month.
Our fake tree has been having some issues so this year we decided to go to a tree lot and get a real one. I wanted to hike up the mountain and cut one down ourselves but Sam didn't seem to like that idea.
Not the best pictures - Preston and Spencer at the tree lot.
The boys helping daddy set up the tree. They thought this was one of the most exciting things ever.
Decorating the tree.
The decorations did not last long on the tree. Most of the month only the top half was decorated because the boys kept taking everything they could reach off. They would put all of the ornaments they could into their dump truck and push them all around. One day Preston took all of the candy canes he could reach and put them in a container. He brought them to me and said, "Look mommy, a yummy treat."
Decorating a gingerbread house.
One day Preston decided he wanted to wear Sam's hat. He thought this was a good way to wear it.
The boys not wanting to see Santa.
Seeing Santa didn't quite go as well as it did
last year. Preston was so excited to see him and has been talking
about him all week saying that he wants cars, numbers, and letters.
Once it was our turn to see him he started yelling "no, no, no." The whole way home he cried because he wanted to, "go see Santa."
Riding the train at the mall. They absolutely loved this.
Unwrapping their Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve.
This was the first picture I took and it turned out so good. I never get both boys smiling.
Christmas morning, before the boys came down.
The Lego table Sam made the boys. He did a really good job and it's huge.
Preston loves the race track he got.
We didn't take very many pictures Christmas day because we recorded a lot with our camcorder. The boys were so happy when they came down the stairs and saw everything.
