First Summer Swim

I bought a little plastic swimming pool for the boys to play in this summer and last weekend was the first time we pulled it out.  We filled up the pool in the morning and let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hours, but it was still quite cold.  Now every time I tell Preston we are going outside he thinks we are going to be playing in the water.  Here are a couple of pictures we took of their first swim this summer.

Sam and the boys - Preston was too focused on the neighbors cat.

We couldn't get them to sit down in the pool all of the way because of how cold it was.

Saturday Fun

A couple of Saturdays ago we decided that we wanted to take the kids to the Church History Museum because we had heard they had a great children's area (and it was free).  The boys loved it and there was a lot of fun activities for them to do.  Afterwards we walked around Temple Square and the City Creek Center and enjoyed lunch together.  Here are a couple of pictures we took.

Driving a car - Spencer looks just as big as Preston in this picture

Preston loves anything that has to do with cars

Picking fruits and veggies from a garden - Spencer just wanted to eat everything.

Pet Store

A couple of weeks ago we took the boys to a pet store to look at the animals (mainly because it's free).  Preston seemed to love every animal he saw and I know it will only be a matter of time before he starts asking for a pet.  We can't wait to take them to the zoo in the near future.

Preston and a lizard staring at each other.

Spencer wasn't as impressed and it took a lot to get him to notice anything.

Preston absolutely loved the chinchilla - to me it's just a large rat and we'll never own one.

May Cards

Here are some of the cards I made during the month of May.

One of the cards I made for Mother's Day.

3D card from SVGcuts kit Everyday Cards.

A card I made for some really good friends of ours that moved away.
